Abstract:
Employees of different age perceive an occupational situation in a different way. This difference in the perception conditions the specificity of professional experience of specialists belonging to different generations. This may become the reason of inefficiency in the conditions of organizational changes. The article studies the issue of particular features of the way young managers perceive professional behavior of aged specialists and their attitude to organizational changes. Analysis of managers' evaluation of particularities of work planning, control, and organization by aged specialists was performed. In order to render work activities efficient, it is important that perception and evaluation of an occupational situation by young and aged professionals be coordinated. The research offers approaches to the elaboration of life-long learning and professional support programs in order to help professional of different age to coordinate their work experience with organizational changes and to interact effectively.
