Abstract:
This paper provides the results of researching specialize induction crucible furnace equipped electromagnetic rotator to create in liquid metal rotating electromagnetic forces and controlled movement of the metal. Electromagnetic, hydrodynamic and thermal calculation of the electromagnetic stirrer were performed by means of detailed equivalent circuit method, finite difference method and finite element method. Verification of a mathematical model produced by the experiment.
