Abstract:
Equations derived on the basis of model concepts of the mechanism of conductivity in molten salt mixtures are given. The molar conductivity isotherms of binary molten salt systems calculated by these equations are compared with experimental data. Comparisons are performed for systems with minimum intercomponent interactions. A new form of the equation for the molar conductivity of a model ideal system is suggested to take into account the molar volumes of the components.
