Abstract:

We present the recent achievements in periodical poling in MgO doped single crystals of lithium niobate and lithium tantalate used for second harmonic generation and optical parametric oscillation based on quasi-phase-matched nonlinear optical wavelength conversion. The compact and highly efficient sources of visible and mid-IR laser light have been developed. © 2016 IEEE.
