Abstract:
The article describes the approach of PSS parameters quality estimation from power system stability point of view. The key idea is implementation of D-decomposition approach to identified power system model. D-decomposition approach allows to obtain power system stability region in PSS parameters space. Identified power system model represents current real power system behavior. Consequently, implementation of D-decomposition to identified model enables to obtain actual stability boundary from PSS parameters point of view.
