Abstract:
The mathematical model of an autodyne, under the influence of its own microwave radiation reflected from the object, microwave oscillator internal noise and power supply fluctuations are given. Calculations of signal and noise characteristics as a functions of the reflected radiation time delay are executed. Results of analysis are confirmed by the experiments performed on the 8 mm band Gunn diode oscillator.
