Abstract:
The report is devoted to the development of model construction principles of an artificial society development. This model is based on the actualization and implementation of specific agents' needs. Unlike in other approaches, the basis of the modeled system agents' behavior is the concept of needs as the necessity of implementation of the agents' transition from one state to another. The ``engine{''} of the model is the dynamic updating of agents' needs considering constant tendency of agents to strengthening and/or preservation of the opportunities including their movement in space. In the absence of conditions for implementation of the chosen recipe, secondary needs are recursively generated. The temporal database is used both for the reflection of the agents' accumulated experience and acquirements, and for debugging of the model. The methodology of the choice of a sufficient option of the agents' opportunities strengthening for the realization of the chosen needs is offered and used in model. The research work is aimed at the creation of the virtual world, which would be as close to the physical one as possible, for the studying and forecasting of social events and the analysis of their consequences which can take place in the real world. The result of this work is the project developed in the RePast Symphony environment in the scripting Groovy language. The results of our experiments have validated the offered approach and the possibility of its use for the choice of options of the territory development management.
