Abstract:
The self-similar and unsteady-state crystallization processes of binary melts with a mushy layer are considered. Two analytical methods of solution of the mushy layer nonlinear model with the moving phase transition boundaries are detailed. The obtained analytical solutions are in good agreement with experimental data. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
