Abstract:
The article deals with numerical modelling of a modernized induction pump used as a dispenser of aluminium from the induction furnace. Modernization of the pump using a hightemperature magnetodielectric material. Optimal settings of the material for a particular mode of operation are found. Numerical modelling of electromagnetic and hydrodynamic turbulent fields using the commercial software package COMSOL Multiphysics. © 2017 IEEE.
