Abstract:
In the paper considered modelling electromechanical feature of magnetohydrodynamic pump based on double side linear motors. Method detailed magnetic equivalent circuit was verified by finite elements method for two-and three-dimensional formulation of problems in software Comsol Multiphysics 5.2. Results characteristic compared with experimental data obtained on laboratory installation of magnetohydrodynamic. The relevance of simulation is that the installation applies in many metallurgical industries. magnetohydrodynamic pumps allows non-contact work on metal, that may improve work flow.
