Abstract:
The results of experimental research of the possibility of applying survey radar sensors and laser sensors for automated location of carriages on the railway tracks of classification (marshalling) yards and junction stations of railway network are observed. The description of the parameters of the locators, targets and experiment conditions in classification yards is given. The procedure of radar experiment is described. The examples of location pictures obtained during the tests are shown. The expediency of processing data received from several spatially spaced survey locators is shown.
