Abstract:
In high-voltage electric power systems current-limiting devices are applied to limit a fault current levels, among those current-limiting reactors are extensively applied. In the comprehensive design a particular attention is paid to winding design. Generally, winding is performed using a few parallel wires (branches). The transition between horizontal rows is based on a specific algorithm referred to as layer transposition method. Conventionally single-type algorithm is used for transition between rows, advantages and drawbacks of which are considered in this contribution. This paper underlines the method to determine ``path{''} of wire in winding. To solve this problem a methods of dynamic programming is proposed. General formulation in optimization problem and constraints are given, objective function and general scheme method are defined. Analysis in scheme of interconnected physical processes is performed taking into account the problem of layer transposition calculation.
