Abstract:
The research is devoted to the use of built-in tools of simulation system Plant Simulation by Siemens - bottleneck analyzer and Gantt wizard, which designed to analyze and improve the time performance of logistics, technology and business processes. The research was based on developed pilot simulation models of the processing and converter departments of metallurgical manufacture. It is shown examples of using bottleneck analyzer and Gantt wizard to highlight the problem operations of processes and develop proposals for their improvement. There is the necessity of performing a certain amount of low-level programming to model development. The necessity of performing a certain amount of low-level programming model development. It is shown that with the use of the reviewed tools can be obtained a significant improvement in the quality of processes in comparison with the original values.
