Abstract:
Analysis of the operation of 12 coke chemical plants in Russia gives the opportunity to determine the main factors, affecting specific changes in technology. According to the authors, these changes should be taken into account, when training engineering personnel. The paper lists these changes and makes several recommendations to improve such training. It points out, in particular, that training programs should have changes to show the operation of coke-chemical plants under untraditional conditions and to discuss the maintenance of equipment.
