Abstract:
Results are presented of calculations of thermal fields in a layer of coke in its partial cooling in the combined process of its quenching and heat preparation of coal charge. A mathematical model is described for calculation of heat exchange in the system of ″coke layer - heat-removed surface″. The model permits to optimize the heat-exchanger-steam generator design. Recommendations are presented for development of effective and ecologically safe plant for coke quenching.
