Abstract:
Preliminary cold plastic deformation, as the result of which deformation martensite is formed and stability is reduced, increases its cavitation corrosion resistance. The increase in resistance of 12Kh18N9T preliminarily deformed at minus 196 degree C is made by deformation martensite and not by phase instability.
