Abstract:
Constructively testable stabilization conditions are derived for a class of nonlinear controlled systems. The optimal stabilization control design for a nonlinear system is reduced to that for a simple auxiliary linear stationary system with quadratic performance functional. An appropriate refinement of functional coefficients is shown to lead to an iterative approximation of control laws satisfying the performance requirements. The method proposed is applied to stabilize the equilibrium of a solid body with engines and flywheels.
