Abstract:
The problem of stability and asymptotic stability of motion relative to a part of the variables under persistent perturbations is examined for the case when some of the latter may not be sufficiently small. Stability theorems of such kind are proved. A unified method based on a nonlinear change of variables and on differential inequalities is used to derive stability conditions for the motion of a solid body with one fixed point under persistent perturbations. © 1984.
