Abstract:
The review outlines the recent achievements in the field of anion coordination chemistry, and is focusing on the function-oriented design of anion-binding "host" ligands. Comparative analysis of receptor abilities for various classes of organic compounds towards anions is presented. © 2005 The Japan Institute of Heterocyclic Chemistry.
