Abstract:
Mössbauer and positron lifetime spectra were measured for samples of fresh concentrated human oxyhaemoglobin solution, during its incubation for 2 weeks at room temperature and after its γ-irradiation. Oxyhaemoglobin degradation and radiolysis were monitored by Mössbauer spectrometry. Positron annihilation data are discussed in the light of the Mössbauer results. © 1993.
