Abstract:
A thermodynamic estimation of alkali metal niobates formation at high temperatures was made by the methods of comparative calculations. On the basis of calculated thermodynamic parameters, the phase formation sequence is justified, in particular, the regularities of the advent of first reaction product from possible array. Promising the use of solution-melt method for niobate single crystal growth is shown.
