Abstract:
Heat transfer in high-temperature fluidized beds is investigated. The effect of various factors on heat transfer from horizontal 125 and 220 mm diameter cylinders is considered. Features of the flow behavior and heat transfer in a fluidized bed sectioned by fixed beds of large-particle packing are examined. The feasibility of employing fluidized beds for cooling of heat transfer surfaces is discussed.
