Abstract:
A method for calculating the boundary conditions for heat transfer through glassmaking furnace brickwork is presented. The average heat-transfer coefficients and heat fluxes for the principal structural elements of a furnace are determined. A database for mathematical modeling the thermal operation of furnaces is formulated. © 2012 Springer Science+Business Media, Inc.
