Abstract:
A one-dimensional dynamic model of an induction crucible furnace developed using MATLAB 7.0.1/SIMULINK software is proposed. The basic blocks of the model are described, as well as the results of calculations of the temperatures of main metal and added material for a 3-ton induction crucible furnace. © 2010 Allerton Press, Inc.
