Abstract:
The crystal structure and the magnetic state of the La1-xBaxMnO3, La1-xBaxCoO3 and LaCo1-xMnxO3 systems have been measured for electrical resistivity, AC susceptibility and neutron diffraction measurements. The samples with x = 0.2-0.3 were found to exibit the maximum values of the magnetoresistance, Curie temperature and average magnetic moment of 3d ions. The experimental results obtained can be explained in terms of indirect magnetic-exchange interaction taken into account for variation of Mn(Co)-O interatomic distances and concentration of Mn4+(Co4+)ions.
