Abstract:
Investigation of long-time evolution of geostationary satellite orbits was made from results of photographic observations of the satellites on Astronomical observatory of Ural State University. Methods and criteria for identification were suggested. They can be used for search and identification of geostationary satellites from position observations and for investigation of its orbital motion on time intervals up to 10 years.
