Abstract:
The samples of pure and 10% vanadium-doped LiMnPO4 have been synthesized by the solid-state reaction technique. The results of Raman and infrared absorption spectroscopy show that the vanadium atoms replace phosphorus giving rise to LiMn(PO4)1-x(VO 4)x solid solutions. This conclusion is confirmed by the first-principle studies. © 2013 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
