Abstract:
The data supporting the existence of short-range magnetic order in cubic solid solutions LiFe1-xNixO2 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.4) are presented. The variation of magnetic properties is described using the concept of superparamagnetism. It is demonstrated that short-range magnetic order effects are related to structural short-range order. The distribution of transition metal ions over structural positions is analyzed using the cluster component method.
