Abstract:
4-Carbamoyl-3-cyanomethyl-1,2,3-triazolium-5-olates were shown to cyclize when treated with sodium ethoxide giving zwitterionic 6-amino-4-oxo-4,5-dihydro-2H-1,2,3-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrazinium-3-olates. In contrast to 4-carbamoyl-3-cyanomethyl-1,2,3-triazolium-5-olates, 4-carbamoyl-3-phenacyl-1,2,3-tri-azolium-5-olates cyclized only by the action of phosphoric acid. © 2014 Springer Science+Business Media New York.
