Abstract:
The condensation of p-methoxy(ethoxy)phenylacetothioamides with acetylenedicarboxylic esters leads to two condensation products, 2-(alkoxycarbonylmethylene)-4-(4-methoxy(ethoxy)phenyl)-5-morpho-lino-3H- thiophen-3-ones and 2-(alkoxycarbonylmethylene)-4-(4-methoxy(ethoxy)phenyl)-5- alkoxy-3H-thiophen-3-ones. It was shown that the substitution of the morpholino group is intramolecular. © 2009 Springer Science+Business Media, Inc.
