Abstract:
A novel heteroditopic receptor based on tetrakis-aminosulfonyl-calix[4] arene and showing the ability of simultaneous binding of anions and cations has been created. The compound was tested as a carrier for inorganic salts across liquid membranes immobilized on a polymeric matrix. © 2005 Springer Science+Business Media, Inc.
