Abstract:
Results are provided for an experimental study of an improvement in periclase-carbon torcrete-mix slag resistance by a reduction in molten slag corrosiveness and modification of refractory composite microstructure. Combination of the refractory microstructure modification obtained and slag with changed chemical composition makes it possible to improve torcrete-mix properties considerably and increase its corrosion slag resistance. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York.
