Abstract:
Results are presented for a study of ferroaluminum microstructure cooled at different rates, used for preparing aluminum-containing cast iron. It is established that the optimum structure is exhibited by alloy with 30 - 40% Al, solidified at a rate of about 180 K/min. © 2010 Springer Science + Business Media, Inc.
