Abstract:
The mathematical model of powder processing in plasma sprays has been developed. The model describes heating and motion of separate particle in direction along and normal to plasma spray axis. The routine PLASMA was designed for calculations in Windows95 system. Comparative analysis of the calculation and experimental results have been done and on the basis of it the optimization of tungsten powder plasma spraying process was carried out.
