Abstract:

We present the results of an investigation into the dynamics of change in the energy intensity of the gross regional product of Sverdlovsk oblast in 1996-2003. We also show that it is possible in principle to increase the indicators characterizing the regional economy with almost no increase in the consumption of primary fuel. © 2007 Pleiades Publishing, Inc.
