Abstract:

In the paper, the ecological characteristics of fuel spray in glass furnaces are presented. The mechanisms of several gaseous oxides formation in the fuel spray and dust formation are discussed. Recommendations are made to lower the hazardous air pollutant content in the fuel combustion products.
