Abstract:
The method of jet dust deposition with the help of turbulent air screen, providing coagulation of fine dust particles, is suggested. A procedure for calculating the main parameters of the jet screen from geometrical ratios of working furnace space and direction of feeding the jets is given. It is shown that one of important parameters of the jet screen, namely ratio of gas medium consumption in the jet and basic flow, provides effective intrafurnace deposition of dust.
