Abstract:
The effect of structural parameters of the furnace operating inside and furnace efficiency on the heat exchange characteristics (the temperatures of the lining inner surface and the resulting heat flows) is analyzed using the results of mathematical simulation. It is shown that the intensification of the thermal operation is closely related to the tank thermal insulation. Hence the modeling of the internal heat and mass exchange should be carried out using the refined relationships of the heat amounts supplied to the melt area from the flame and glass melt sides.
