Abstract:
Relationships are obtained for the calculation of gas temperature and heat exchange efficiency as functions of the intensification density factor in radiant heat exchange, given a constant temperature of heated surface. The condition of efficiency self-generation in relation to the heat capacity of the flow is applied, and the relationships of direct heat exchange efficiency to the intensification density are obtained. The features of 'efficiency-intensification' characteristics in radiant heat exchange in comparison to convection heat exchange are analyzed, the conditions for the upper and lower heat engineering crises are formulated, and the relationships for calculation are proposed. The values for the effective coefficients of radiant heat exchange are determined. The example of applying the calculation relationships for the melting period in a steel furnace is considered.
