Abstract:
It is necessary to calculate the radiant heat transfer in a layer of fibrous material in analyzing temperature fields in a series of parts subjected to heat treatment. This calculation is also of interest in estimating the radiant component of the heat conduction of fibrous thermal-insulation material. Formulas are proposed for calculating the radiant component of the effective heat conduction of fibrous materials.
