Abstract:
The problem of radiation-convective heat transfer in the volume V is considered in a zonal approximation. Account is taken of the conductive heat transfer in bodies surrounding this volume. Solution of the general problem reduces to successive solution at each step, in terms of time, DELTA tau , of a system of nonlinear equations approximating heat transfer in the volume V, and of thermal conductivity equations. An iteration method is proposed to solve the system of nonlinear equations. It converges rapidly if radiation heat transfer predominates in the volume V.
