Abstract:
With a natural gas output of 10 m**3/h and an electrical input of up to 70 kW, the main operating conditions are a high-temperature mode with air/fuel ratios close to unity, and a non-oxidizing or reducing mode with the ratio substantially below unity. The characteristics of gas combustion under these regimes are indicated. The flame composition obtained experimentally is compared with the calculated composition.
