Abstract:
Thermal balance equations for an infinitely small area on the surface of the furnace lining (or slag) are advanced for calculating the local energy particulars of external heat transfer; these equations take into account the convective component of heat transfer and the thermal and physical properties of the surface. The use of the statistical test method for calculating local resolvent general angular coefficients makes it possible to allow for the nonuniform distribution of reflected radiant flows, initially directed from the emitting point under consideration, within each surface zone.
