Abstract:
Acoustic flows excited by SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) in a gaseous environment is relatively new but there already studies devoted to this subject. An investigation was conducted on the flow of a viscous compressible medium in a planar infinite slot during the propagation of an SAW; in particular, the resonant effects of gas entrainment and attenuation of the SAW was predicted and observe experimentally. Results of the study are presented.
