Abstract:

Complex modern conditions of operation of coke ovens are currently observed. Non-constant raw materials are utilized, coke ovens are operated during long period, equipment is worn. In connection with this, it is necessary to provide high degree of cleaning the coke oven gas from aromatic hydrocarbons. Efficient cleaning can be provided by means application of high-quality wash oil. Reasons for decreasing the wash oil quality have been determined. Traditional methods of regeneration of wash oil do not provide high quality of the oil. New method of regeneration of wash oil using the precipitating agents has been presented.
