Abstract:
The pitches of 200-240°C softening temperature are produced of middle-temperature pitches by the method presented. The mixture of initial pitch and condensing additive stands at 350 and 200°C during 10-60 min. The completely sulfonated high-boiling fraction of coal tar is used as additive. The pitches obtained are of increased high-condensed fraction content.
