Abstract:
The coal pitch under investigation is subjected to oxidation by an air-oxygen mixture at 200-290°C. Vapors of an azeotrope-forming substances are added continuously in the flow of a leaving from a reactor vapor-gas mixture. Then the mixture is cooled and the moment of reaction water formation from the obtained azeotrope is detected. The water formation rate and water quantity are detected too. By means of obtained data it is possible to judge on the reactivity of the investigated pitch. The invention permits to increase the information possibilities of the technique.
