Abstract:
Application of donor-acceptor interaction allows to determine quantitatively and to separate from coal pitch the most reactive compounds for their further identification and investigation, to estimate dimensions of aromatic fields of polyconjugation and strength of pitch mesophase associates, to characterize mesogenic structures at different stages of pitch carbonization depending on initial raw material including all known methods to accelerate coking process (oxidation, chlorination, pressure etc.), to measure the reactivity of pitch low-molecular component and the donor-hydrogen activity of electrode pitch.
