Abstract:
Theoretical and experimental studies have been made of mass transfer kinetics in a moving drop during extraction under conditions of spontaneous interphase convection caused by the Marangoni effect. A semiempirical mass transfer model was used as the basis for deriving a formula that describes mass transfer kinetics in a moving drop under conditions of spontaneous interphase convection. The goodness of model fit was confirmed experimentally.
