Abstract:
The article intends to study joint countecurrent transfer of two surface-active substances and to determine their mutual influence on the process rate, which may depend on phase resistances, concentration levels of the transferred substances, and their surface activity. The experiments were conducted in the dichloroethane-water system. The transferred substances were acetic acid (mass transfer from dichloroethane into water) and methyl ethyl ketone (mass transfer from water into dichloroethane). The dependence of mass transfer coefficients on various factors in countercurrent transfer was studied. Results are presented.
